BIB-VERSION:: CS-TR-v2.0 ID:: STAN//CSL-TR-77-136 ENTRY:: December 01, 1994 ORGANIZATION:: Stanford University, Computer Systems Laboratory TITLE:: A STRUCTURAL DESIGN LANGUAGE FOR COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN OF DIGITAL SYSTEMS TYPE:: Technical Report AUTHOR:: vanCleemput, Willem M. DATE:: April 1977 PAGES:: 29 ABSTRACT:: In this report a language (SDL) for describing structural properties of digital systems will be presented. SDL can be used at all levels of the design process, i.e. from the system level down to the circuit level. The language is intended as a complement to existing computer hardware description languages, which emphasize behavioral description. The language was motivated partly by the nature of the design process. NOTES:: [Adminitrivia V1/Prg/19941201] END:: STAN//CSL-TR-77-136
